The International Journal of NanoScience and Nanotechnology (IJNN) is a scholarly journal dedicated to the publication of original research and scholarly contributions covering the broad and interdisciplinary fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The journal provides a forum for research addressing the fundamental principles, materials, structures, devices, processes, characterization methods, and applications associated with nanoscale science and technology.

The journal welcomes research spanning physical sciences, life sciences, theoretical and computational sciences, and engineering, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Contributions should present scientifically rigorous work of relevance to researchers and practitioners working in nanoscale science, engineering, and related disciplines.

Aim and Scope
The journal aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of research and developments across the broad field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

Nanomaterials, nanostructures and nanoscale materials
Nanoparticles, nanocomposites, nanocrystals and nanostructured surfaces
Nanoelectronics, nanoelectronic devices and nanoscale semiconductor technologies
Nanophotonics, optoelectronics and plasmonics
Nanofabrication, nanomanufacturing and nanoscale processing
Nanomechanics, nanotribology and mechanical behaviour at the nanoscale
Nanoscale physics, chemistry and materials science
Molecular nanotechnology and supramolecular systems
Nanobiotechnology and applications of nanotechnology in life sciences
Nanomedicine, drug delivery, biosensors and diagnostic technologies
Nanobiomaterials and biomedical nanotechnology
Environmental nanotechnology and applications in environmental science
Energy-related nanotechnology, including nanomaterials for energy generation and storage
Nanoengineering and nanoscale engineering systems
Sensors, nanosensors and nanoscale detection technologies

The journal considers research articles, review articles and other scholarly contributions that provide substantive scientific or technological contributions to the field and are relevant to an international research community.

Types of Contributions:
Research Articles: These should present original and carefully documented research findings. Experimental, computational, theoretical or applied procedures should be described in sufficient detail to allow the work to be evaluated and, where appropriate, reproduced.

Short Communications: These are suitable for reporting concise but complete findings, new observations, methodological developments, innovative approaches, or other significant results that can be communicated effectively in a shorter format.

Review Articles: Reviews and perspectives covering significant and current topics within the scope of the journal are welcome. Review manuscripts are subject to peer review.

Publication Frequency: Two issues per year.
